Small Prints
The first, classic Nile & York range of small print designs was based on a tinted lightweight chintz cloth. The latest range contains 78 fabrics, based on nine designs in six colours. Designed originally for fancy curtain linings, this range is also suitable for blinds and other soft furnishings such as four-poster bed curtains, coronets and headboards.
The range still contains some of the original chintz fabrics but now includes the heavier quality sateen lining cloth, giving the range a wider use and appeal.
Small Linen Prints
A fresh yet sophisticated range suitable for furnishings from upholstery to curtains. The five designs are printed onto a linen/cotton cloth with 39 colour options on a bleached or scoured cloth base colour.
Designed to suit a wide range of interior styles, Small Linen Prints make wonderful stand-alone fabrics and also work beautifully when used to co-ordinate with a wide range of other fabrics and textures.
Archive Prints
The Archive Prints Collection is based on designs for 18th century Print Rooms, in which copper-plate engravings of decorative subjects were pasted on to the walls of great houses and adorned with classical borders and embellishments to create stunning trompe l’oeil effects, resembling framed pictures hanging from ropes and chains.
This collection comprises two main designs: the Classical Garden Print Room and the Equestrian Print Room together with two complimentary co-ordinates; Pergolesi and Print Room Stripe.
Wallpapers
As suggested by our customers we have introduced a range of Wallpapers. The Wallpaper designs are based on our popular Small Prints and Small Linen Prints ranges. Any design and colour from these two ranges will be produced to order as Wallpaper in the same scale as it appears on the fabrics. We have also included a range of stripe wallpapers and the Classical Garden and Pergolesi Archive Designs.
